Today Torino and its surroundings offer visitors and tourists more than fifty attractions including museums, cultural heritage, castles, royal residences and exhibition centers which, as a whole, represent  an international cultural offer.

The city of Torino offers more than 40 important museums. Not to be missed: the Museo Nazionale del Cinema (the highest museum of the world, 167 meters high) located in the wonderful building of the Mole Antonelliana, symbol of Torino or the Museo Egizio, second in importance and quantity of finds only to the Cairo Museum. Tourists spending longer time in Torino have to take into account also: the Palazzo Reale, the Palazzo Madama, the MAO (Museum of Oriental Art), the Museo dell'Automobile, the Pinacoteca Giovanni e Marella Agnelli and, just few miles outside Torino, the Reggia e Giardini della Venaria Reale.

For passionates of contemporary art check the exibitions at the GAM (Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art) and at the Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo.

A lot of them often host temporary exhibitions.
