Before your arrival
Torino has a population of more than 909.000 inhabitants but a lot more if you consider all surrounding areas.
Seasons in Torino are likely to be considered cold in winter but the temperatures drop considerably when going up the mountains, so remember that, over 1000 metres above sea level, you will need the proper clothing for the season and the more biting climate.
In Summer there can be frequent and sudden changes in temperature, even during the same day and July can be very hot and sticky while just at one hour travel you can find nice and windy climate.

How to pack your bags
Torino is moderately cold in the winter months, so travelers visiting during this time should wear heavy clothing and warm winter coats and accessories. Autumn is generally mild in temperature but has the strong possibility of rain, so visitors should have the appropriate rain gear on hand. Summer in Torino is mild to hot, sometimes muggy. Visitors should wear light-weight and breathable clothing during these months, especially because Air Conditioning is not as common as in USA. Spring weather is very mild in this area, so lighter apparel may be desired. Don't pack grooming/medical supplies, pharmacies are wonderful, and well stocked.

Before you leave
