Prosecco Superiore is undoubtedly today one of the most famous wines in the world: a success story that has its reasons in the wine’s extremely appealing style, elegance and versatility. The area where that of highest quality - Prosecco
Superiore DOCG – is produced lies in the foothills in the Province of Treviso, between the communes of
Conegliano and
Valdobbiadene. This is a very hilly zone that is difficult to cultivate (hence the term “heroic viticulture” is often used), but because it is so fascinating and rich in history, it is in line to become a UNESCO World Heritage Site. To visit it you can follow the original path of the
Strada del Prosecco, the oldest wine road in Italy, because of its many historical and cultural points of interest.
