The usual annual meeting of the Association every year starts with the visit of an FCA plant and continues with 2 days of cultural and gastronomical programme. This year the first day is in Melfi and then a beautiful tour will guide you through spectacular Matera, in the region of Basilicata, well known for its historical center called "Sassi" – ancient houses carved in the tuff- and considered World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Capital of Culture in 2019 the town lies in a small canyon carved out by the Gravina river.
One night will be in Polignano a Mare, a marvellous village on the coast of Apulia and the last day we will visit Alberobello, the small town very famous for its “Trulli” peculiar building.
WHEN: October 1st to 4th
COST: 400€/each + flight from Torino to Bari Palese Airport (in DBL room; Single extra TBD)
INCLUDED: Melfi plant visit and lunch, accommodation, 2 typical dinners, guided tour, admissione to Sassi and Trulli, bus on site, insurance, tour leader.
Flight cost will be confirmed after the tour is planned. At the moment the cost is around 120€ with Ryanair (+ 35€/segment for checked baggage).
